Position Title: Clay Modeller

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Assignment Description

As a Clay Modeller, you will work on both new and ongoing projects across various stages of design development. You will play a key role in transforming sketches and digital concepts into high‑quality physical models.

Are you passionate about shaping the future of automotive design?
We are now looking for a skilled Clay Modeller to join a creative and fast‑paced design studio in Gothenburg. In this role, you will collaborate closely with designers and engineers to bring concept ideas to life through physical 3D models.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Developing 3D physical models for exterior and interior design
• Performing clay modelling on full‑scale and scale models
• Conducting 3D scanning of physical models
• Preparing model armatures, surfaces, and components
• Supporting preparation of models and parts for milling and paint

Collaborating daily with creative design teams in the studio

Qualifications & Skills

We are looking for candidates with the following experience:

• Proven experience in clay modelling within automotive or industrial design
• Strong understanding of modern studio techniques
• Experience with on‑plate milling is an advantage
• Experience and good understanding of scanning software
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Office

Optional competence areas:

• CAD (CATIA): Solid / Surface
• TeamCenter Automotive: Author / Viewer
