Based across Germany (3-4 days pw onsite)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an automotive OEM, based in Germany, who are looking for a Dealer Development Lead to join their team.

Job Description

As Dealer Development Lead, your main responsibilities will include:

• Act as the primary point of contact for a new, growing group of German dealerships.
• Monitor and analyse dealer sales performance, and work collaboratively to improve results.
• Provide clear action plans and support for underperforming dealers.
• Support the implementation of sales campaigns and product launches, at a local level.
• Identify opportunities to improve retail coverage, brand visibility and customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to dealer appointment, onboarding or network change decisions, in your region.

Qualifications/Skills needed

• Knowledge of motorcycle products, retail operations, and dealership business models.
• Experience in sales reporting tools and CRM systems.
• Passion for the motorcycle industry and enthusiasm for engaging with customers and dealers alike.
• Proven experience in a field-based sales role, ideally within the automotive or motorcycle industry.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements.
• Ideally the individual would be based in the market, with knowledge of the local market and language.
