Job description

Position Title: Product Quality Investigator

Duration: Permanent or Contract

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

***This role requires you to already be on sight with a work permit in Sweden.

About the Role:

The Product Quality Investigator is responsible for compiling the status and results of complete vehicle quality and customer satisfaction in the market. The role involves identifying and driving product quality issues to resolution, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction, and supporting continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Discover, define, and drive product quality issues to resolution using multiple sources such as warranty systems, social media, and call centre feedback.
  • Contribute to Quality Review meetings, document intake decisions, and support prioritization of issues.
  • Establish and maintain tools and processes for quality issue management, ensuring alignment with aftermarket and global quality systems and processes.
  • Compile and maintain reporting, statistics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Escalate deviations from quality targets and follow up on corrective actions.

    Requirements
  • Extensive experience in aftermarket and quality issue resolution.
  • In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas: infotainment, body electronics, chassis, or interior/exterior systems.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience working with aftermarket systems.
  • B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent technical background.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of complete vehicle products and systems.
  • Strong communication skills for quality reporting and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Business acumen for prioritizing quality issues based on impact.
  • Good awareness of GDPR legislation and its practical implications in data handling.
  • B driver's license required.
