£27.21ph (Inside IR35), 40 hrs pw

About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Gaydon, who are seeking a BOM Validation Engineer to join their team

Job Description

As BOM Validation Engineer, your main responsibilities are:

• Lead and manage BOM validation activities, in line with PI planning expectations
• Arrange meetings with engineers, to validate parts.
• Raise issues using the AIMS tool or live engineering concerns.
• Create and publish master metrics via a night letter daily, during validation activities.
• Facilitate hand over meetings and confirm closure of AIMS, raised through validation.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Strong project management and time/workload management skills ability to work alone.
• Ability to do complex data analysis, identify problems and develop effective solutions at pace.
• Aptitude for communication and the ability to articulate complex problems.
• Working knowledge of Excel (vlookup)
• Understanding of BOM usages.
• Experience of the Product Information processes and data structure would be an advantage
