Position: Vehicle Technician

Location: Onsite in Dunton

Position Type: Contract

About the company

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Automotive OEM Based in Essex who are now looking for a Vehicle technician to join the team on a long term rolling basis

Position Description:

  • Interface to workshop and test facilities as required achieving set tasks/goals.

Skills Required:

  • Work as a member of a team to keep vehicles updated with correct level h/w and controls.
  • Arrange installation of required instrumentation with relevant workshop groups.
  • Organize vehicle test fleet activities - climatic test in chamber and test trip organisation.
  • Arranging shipment of vehicles and equipment as required.
  • Carry out administrative duties - documentation of vehicles - registration, tax etc.
  • Coordination and records keeping, shipping documentation, requisitioning equipment and materials.
  • Keeping and working to plans as required to support the calibration team.

Experience Required:

  • Experience in Vehicle testing and Powertrain Calibration activities
