Position Title: System Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: Hybrid, Milton Keynes - 2-3 Days On-site

Essential Criteria:

• Performs design activities for Electrical Schematics and Wiring Harness and associated electrical and electronic components for vehicle EDS technical deliverables of the project, in accordance with the client process and requirements.
• Design LV electrical systems - specifically circuit design, wiring/fusing and electrical packaging.
• Responsible for wiring harness design, integration, and verification.
• Understand/interpret 2D harness drawings, multiple customers.
• Produce BOMs / Cutsheets to manufacture prototype harnesses.
• Oversee the manufacture of prototype harnesses, chasing down any tooling / component / design issues.
• Feedback to the customer ref design issues.
• Validate customer specs against RDM specs.
• Prepare harness schematics with harness software in preparation for manufacturing.
• Measure/electrically test sample harnesses for PPIR reports.

Nice to Have Criteria:

• Experience using Zuken harness designer for 2D drawing creation, Zuken CR5000 cabling designer an advantage.
