Position Title: Senior Packaging Engineer

The Role

You will join a newly formed and influential team, shaping future vehicle architectures from the earliest development phases. With a high level of responsibility and significant technical impact, you will take ownership of key architectural and packaging decisions that influence the overall vehicle concept.

Working in a collaborative and international environment, you will interact closely with multiple engineering disciplines, contributing your expertise to create robust, well-integrated solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly influence next-generation mobility solutions and play a central role in defining the vehicles of the future.

The position requires flexibility, a positive attitude toward new challenges, and strong communication skills to effectively bridge multiple disciplines. You will be expected to consistently deliver high-quality solutions within agreed timelines.

Description of the Assignment

• Develop vehicle architectures, packaging layouts, and geometrical setups in early development phases
• Define and manage component integration across complete vehicle systems
• Lead and coordinate stakeholders including crash safety, NVH, durability, manufacturing, body structure, powertrain, and chassis
• Ensure effective system packaging with correct quality and timing for downstream development activities
• Create, manage, and evaluate geometries using CATIA V5 and VisMockup
• Act as a technical integrator, driving alignment across disciplines and resolving packaging conflicts

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in vehicle integration or complete vehicle layout
• Deep understanding of vehicle architectures and system integration
• Proven ability to work independently with high autonomy
• Strong experience leading and coordinating cross-functional engineering teams
• Advanced skills in CATIA V5 and VisMockup
• Experience working in Teamcenter or similar PLM systems
