Position Title: Senior Energy Management Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Description of the assignment

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Management Engineer with a specialized focus on climate control systems.
  • In this role, you will be a key contributor within the Energy Management team, responsible for development, integration, calibration, and verification of climate control software.
  • You will work with global stakeholders to ensure optimal climate and thermal system performance, energy efficiency, directly impacting our next-generation products.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

  • Master's degree in Control Systems, Vehicle Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant automotive industry experience in climate & thermal
  • Have Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Climate & thermal systems (HVAC, battery cooling, powertrain cooling etc.) and control theory (PID, state machines)
  • Have experience of analysing and resolving complex software issues related to functionality, performance, and integration.
  • Have experience of Model-Based Development (MBD): Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for designing, simulating, and auto-generating (via Embedded Coder) control algorithms for HVAC, battery thermal management, etc.
  • Have experience of Embedded software development C/C++
  • Have experience of SW calibration(using INCA, CANape), function validation, and bench road testing
  • Have experience of process knowledge and quality assurance in software development
  • Driver's license (B) and experience in vehicle testing and subjective evaluation.
  • Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
