Position Title: Senior Energy Management Engineer

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Description of the assignment

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Energy Management Engineer with a specialized focus on climate control systems.
In this role, you will be a key contributor within the Energy Management team, responsible for development, integration, calibration, and verification of climate control software.
You will work with global stakeholders to ensure optimal climate and thermal system performance, energy efficiency, directly impacting our next-generation products.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

Master's degree in Control Systems, Vehicle Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
5+ years of relevant automotive industry experience in climate & thermal
Have Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of Climate & thermal systems (HVAC, battery cooling, powertrain cooling etc.) and control theory (PID, state machines)
Have experience of analysing and resolving complex software issues related to functionality, performance, and integration.
Have experience of Model-Based Development (MBD): Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink/Stateflow for designing, simulating, and auto-generating (via Embedded Coder) control algorithms for HVAC, battery thermal management, etc.
Have experience of Embedded software development C/C++
Have experience of SW calibration(using INCA, CANape), function validation, and bench road testing
Have experience of process knowledge and quality assurance in software development
Driver's license (B) and experience in vehicle testing and subjective evaluation.
Proficient communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
