Position Title: Senior CAE Engineer, Safety

Duration: Long term contract

Location: Lindholmen, Gothenburg, Sweden

Our client is currently looking for a Senior CAE Engineer Safety team Lindholmen

Job Description:

• Support within Safety CAE analysis
• Performing safety simulations for vehicles, including full vehicle crash simulations and/or sub-model safety simulations.
• Suggesting design changes based on simulation results.
• Communicating findings with design teams and attribute leaders.
• Analysing test results and conducting correlation work.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in crash safety, including:
• High-speed full vehicle simulations.
• Sub-model safety simulations (e.g. FHM, pedestrian protection, pendulum impacts).
• Proficiency in ANSA, MetaPost, and LS-Dyna, with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of Python scripting is an advantage.

• Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere with an open, positive attitude
• Quickly adapt to new surroundings, high level of responsibility. Likes to communicate results and findings with design and attribute engineers. Likes to learn and be taught by peers.
