Position Title: Requirements Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: Solihull

*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility to work full time in the UK and travel within the EU.*

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the setup and configuration of a new requirements management tool
• Define and implement a scalable requirements structure, including:
• Templates
• Unique ID conventions
• Naming standards
• Requirement categories
• Traceability models
• Manage the migration of legacy Excel-based requirements into the new system, ensuring high data quality and consistency
• Develop and deploy efficient workflows for:
• Requirement creation
• Reviews and approvals
• Change management
• Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability across:
• Electrical
• Software
• Controls
• Calibration
• Testing
• Support compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE, ensuring robust documentation and process governance
• Deliver training and onboarding for engineering teams, driving adoption of the new system
• Act as a champion for requirements engineering best practices across the organisation

About You

• Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama, etc.)
• Strong understanding of systems engineering and requirements lifecycle management
• Experience working in automotive, motorcycle, or safety-critical environments
• Proven ability to build processes and systems from scratch
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Passion for improving engineering efficiency and quality
