Job Description

As Project Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Experience in automotive project engineering experience in Exterior Systems
• Specifically deployable headlight mechanisms.
• Basic knowledge of general lighting requirements
• Knowledge of motor / clutch mechanisms.
• Knowledge of composite and/or carbon fibre panels
• Knowledge of typical automotive requirements and test deck. Including safety standards.
• Strong leadership of high performance engineering teams including coordinating design reviews and following up on actions.
• Self-motivated to deliver excellence and excellent communicator.
• Comfortable with senior level report out cadence and delivery against defined set of KPIs
• Literate with CAD viewing / visualisation software packages

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Experience in high value low volume composite sports car design and engineering.
• Lighting experience is beneficial but not critical as the actual headlights are carry over.
• Physical build phase experience is preferred. i.e. launch, reworks and containments, 8d fault finding and root case analysis.
• Strong DFMEA knowledge and experience
• Releasing, BOM, Change Control and DFM experience
• CATIA viewing software literate
• PPAP delivery experience
