Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client, who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for an Electrical Design Consultant to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull.

Job Description

As an Electrical Design Consultant, your main responsibilities are:

• Package investigations and development of solutions to EDS related package issues
• Adhere to Customer specifications and requirements while developing designs
• Adhere to internal specifications and requirements while developing designs
• Timely implementation of design changes during program development, prototype and production build phases
• Review designs with customer manufacturing team to ensure feasibility for instillation into vehicle, including using all design process
• Ensure EDS routing and package design is compatible with vehicle environment.

Qualifications / Skills needed:

• Design using Creo
• 3D data management using Windchill
• Previous experience of ensuring EDS routing and packaging design is compatible with vehicle environment.
• Previous experience in supporting design reviews, prototype harness and vehicle builds at company and customer locations.
