Position Title: DVP Engineer

Duration: Contract

Location: Dunton, Essex

Outside of IR35. Hybrid working.

*Applicants MUST have proof of immediate, on-going and valid eligibility, to work full time, and travel within, the UK*

Essential Criteria:

• The main purpose of the role is to collect, analyse, test and manage the development of the EDS wiring system, based on the Customer requirements.
• To be involved in design change proposals / solutions to assist with feasibility.
• All Engineering specifications must be considered, cost, quality, timing as well as environmental aspects whilst protecting client interests as a priority.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and plan the DVP&R testing against the customer specification requirements and to meet the customer gateways.
• Create and maintain the DVP&R plan, defining testing profiles for all required tests and to the customer gateways.
• Communicate, lead and track EDS/Systems/3D Engineering/Design group deliverables throughout the program.
• Will need to liaise with manufacturing plant to obtain W/H / Channels / Components for testing
• Track all issues and changes through to closure, ensuring that all customer requirements are met, or obtaining customer acceptance via a signed DVP&R or signed deviation.
• Participation in Customer TDR's / Internal Virtual reviews with 3DCAD / EDS / Systems to ensure compliance to all customer requirements.
• Attend trial builds to verify compliance an identify potential areas of concern.
• Report out with recommendations on how to improve.
• Effectively communicate and resolve open issues with cross functional team members. (Quality, Sales, Design Engineering, Manufacturing).

Any Special Conditions:

• High degree of flexibility, to be able to react to customer requests and solve problems relating to concerns promptly to maintain customer satisfaction whilst ensuring all requirements are met 100%
• Ability to travel to bot client and customer sites as necessary.

Knowledge Skills And Experience Required:

• Full understanding of the SDS / Customer DVP&R requirements
• Knowledge of the Clients' internal systems such as FEDE and the utilization of this system.
• DVP&R Experience essential

Nice to Have Criteria:

• Previous Client experience
