About the company
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a global OEM, based in Gothenburg, who are seeking a ADAS Validation Engineer to join their team. You will join the European R&D hub for a premium electric mobility brand. We develop cutting-edge electric vehicles and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) for global markets, working closely with leading brands.
The Role
As an ADAS Validation Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of bringing next-generation ADAS functionality to the European market. Role located in the Intelligent Drive department. Your mission is to Launch ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) functionality for the European market.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and validate ADAS features on the vehicles on test tracks and public roads across Europe.
- Ensure our ADAS functions meet European customer expectations.
- Analyze test data and manage issues in collaboration with suppliers and Chinese counterparts.
- Support homologation and EU-NCAP testing with project teams and external partners.
- Optimization and testing both in test bench as well as in vehicle
- Data analysis, preparation of reports and presentation of results
- Build engine models, optimization calibration data based on screening data
- Liaison and reporting to various functions within the organization
- Technical supervision and mentoring of non-experienced engineers
- Software and calibration data management with established data handling tools
- Ensuring a proper handover of all results and knowledge at end of assignment
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Experience Minimum 3 years in ADAS, including European vehicle testing.
- Driver's license Swedish license required.
- Experience using CATIA (Solid & Surface)
- Technical Skills Strong understanding of ADAS behaviour in complete vehicles; experience with Canalyzer, Canoe, SystemWeaver, and optionally ADAS hardware/logging equipment.
- Proactive, team-oriented, curious, empathetic, and adaptable.
- Fluent in English, spoken and written
