Coventry University’s Transport Design students are exploring what future mobility could look like, supported by Contechs as they take on a design challenge focused on innovation and creativity.
Delivered in collaboration with Autodesk, the project challenges students to design and present a new-to-market premium electric vehicle that is bold, beautiful, and breakthrough. Over the course of the eight-week programme, students are encouraged to push creative boundaries while considering the technical, commercial, and user-led demands shaping the future of vehicle design.
The project is supported by Marc Brumpton, Studio Director at Contechs, and Pierre-Paul Andriani, Design Studio Solution Specialist at Autodesk, who will be working closely with the cohort through regular studio check-ins and industry feedback sessions. Their involvement provides students with valuable exposure to professional design processes, emerging tools, and the expectations of the modern automotive studio environment.
This initiative forms part of Contechs’ ongoing commitment to supporting and inspiring the next generation of automotive designers and engineers, bridging the gap between education and industry by sharing real-world experience and guidance at a formative stage of students’ development.
Contechs looks forward to sharing the outcomes of this latest collaboration as Coventry University’s Transport Designers bring their future mobility concepts to life.
