Position Title: Vehicle Architecture

Duration: 6 Month Rolling Contract

Location: Dunton, Essex

Division: Product Development

Position Description:

• Vehicle Architecture development Engineer VA engineers are responsible for establishing and delivering the fundamental layout of vehicles including the dimensions; mass balance; occupant positions and accommodation and the mechanical arrangement with geometrical compatibility.
• VA are the first engineering team involved in the programme and involvement continues to Job#1 and beyond.

Skills Required:

• Excellent project and people management skills, with tenacity in resolving issues
• Excellent written and oral presentation skills; ability to interface with senior management
• Ability to resolve complex, multi-dimensional problems and present solutions with clarity

Skills Preferred:

• Knowledge of FEDE, PLM, CAE, CAD, Auros - E2KS and Digital Buck tools
• CATIA abilities

Experience Required:

• Delivery of vehicle programs

Experience Preferred:

• Knowledge of commercial vehicle variants / configurations preferred

Education Required:

• Degree in Engineering discipline
