I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a Technical Product Development Specialist to join their team.

Job Description

• Co-ordinate and chair Design Efficiency Reviews, using company and competitor data, to assist engineers in vehicle light-weighting Status reporting and issue resolution up to management level
• Project management of Vehicle Weight targets and deliverables, including benchmarking for future target setting and balancing Cascade and track vehicle weight requirements to System level and monitoring of status by interacting with System engineers
• Responsible for Coordination of Generation and maintenance of Vehicle Mass Properties models where required Conduct validation of components and vehicles
• Support Vehicle Mass Certification activity ahead of vehicle Launch as required by vehicle programme

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Mass Properties knowledge
• Experience of vehicle engineering, in particular the control of weight and targets management.
• Whole vehicle engineering knowledge & cross functional experience
