Position Description:
- Finance Analyst - Supplier Audit
- To prioritise, plan and deliver supplier audits maximising utilisation of internal resource and managing external audit support to fulfil business requirements.
- Supplier audits objectives include to verification of claims, evidence of obsolete stock, verification of assets and any other requirements of the Procurement team to support supplier relationships.
Skills Required:
- Sound financial and commercial business acumen
- Audit experience and comprehensive understanding of what constitutes good evidence and ability to draw conclusions based on information gathered and analysed
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and nurture relationships internally with operations and externally with suppliers
Skills Preferred:
- Manage the supplier audit requirements of Procurement, including managing the hopper, prioritising the work, optimising internal and external resource
- Liaising with external audit support, managing work allocation, planning and spend within budget
- To liaise with Procurement and CoC Finance business partner to determine audit scope
- Plan and organise audit in conjunction with Procurement and supplier representative including communication of format of audit and audit evidence required.
- Undertake audit in line with agreed plan, gather audit evidence, review, write audit report and draw appropriate conclusion
- Communicate audit outcome to stakeholders
- Review and sign off of audit reports
- Shared: Determination of audit scope Planning and organising of audits
- Undertaking of supplier audit
Experience Required:
- At least 1 year PQE Accounting qualification
