Position Title: Senior CAE Engineer, Safety

Duration: Contract

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Description of the assignment

• Our Client is in the need of support within Safety CAE analysis.
• Work tasks will be safety simulations for vehicle, full vehicle crash simulations and/or sub models safety simulations.
• The person will suggest design changes based on simulation results and communicate with design team and attribute leaders.
• Analysing of test results and correlation work will also be part of the assignment.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

• Contractor needs to be experienced in the specific field of crash safety.
• High speed full vehicle simulations as well as experience from sub model safety simulations e.g. FHM, pedestrian protection or pendulum impacts.
• Candidate must be able to work independently in ANSA, MetaPost, LS-Dyna with minimal supervision. Knowledge about Python scripting is an advantage.
