Position Title: Lead PLC Engineer

Duration: 9 Month Rolling Contract

Location: Halewood

Division: Manufacturing Engineering

Position Description

• As lead PLC engineer, you will be responsible for the development and commissioning of PLC based software applications.

• This will include sequential automation (DCP preferred), Facility Monitoring and manufacturing execution systems.

• Experience in programming Allen Bradley PLCs within the automotive industry is a required skill for this role.

• You will also be part of a cross functional development team and have direct input into global manufacturing standards covering multiple technology areas (Body Construction, Trim and Final, Paint, Powertrain)

Primary Skills Required

• Expert in PLC programming

• Experience with Allen Bradley/Rockwell PLC's

• Understanding of industrial networks (Ethernet IP)

• Problem solving

Additional Skills

• Experience with DCP programming structure

• Experience in delivering MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems)

• Experience in delivering facility Monitoring Systems
