Contechs are currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive Manufacturer based in Surrey who are seeking a Passive Safety Parts Coordinator to join their team.

Job Description

As Passive Safety Parts Coordinator your main responsibilities are:

• Order parts and monitor ordering status; ensure approvals are received for purchase orders
• Support passive safety engineers with information on parts, such as prices, stock levels, general parts descriptions
• Work with material controllers to release parts to passive safety and agree delivery dates
• Create and update parts list with information, estimated times of arrivals, parts information, weight, ordering and release status.
• Manage the database process for ordering parts
• Create and update transport and car tracker.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively across different teams and functions
• Proficient using computers and software programs such as SAP, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Explorer.
• Basic mechanical car knowledge
• General understanding of production and car building
• Basic knowledge of CAD software (reviewing)
