Position Title: Mobile HV System Support Technician

Duration: 12 Month Rolling Contract

Location: Dunton, Essex

Division: Product Development

Position Description:

• Mobile HV System Support Technician
• IMI Level 4 Working within the Electrified Powertrain Engineering Quality Team with responsibility of providing on-site technical support at franchised dealers to diagnose and repair HV battery packs.
• Key tasks as follows: Perform tear-down and root cause analysis on failed battery packs, with remote advice from the Clients' engineering team as required.
• Lead HV battery internal troubleshooting on live parts and support repair, commissioning, maintenance and service.

Skills Required:

• Candidates must hold IMI L4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing and Repair of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components.
• Experience using the following tools is also required: Diagnostic Engineering Tool (DET), ATI, Mycanic, Canalyzer

Experience Required:

• Previous experience working on high voltage electrified powertrain systems in a product development or dealer environment.

Education Required:

• IMI L4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing and Repair of Electric/Hybrid Vehicles and Components

Additional Information:

• Travel: Climate trips to support development activities
• Location: Hybrid - Negotiable
• The position will involve frequent travel within the UK.
• Vehicle and all required equipment will be provided.
• Candidates must hold a full clean UK driving licence.
