Duration: Contract

Location: India - Virtual in Pune (12 Months) to Launch in Sanand, Gujarat (further 12 months)

• Experienced in all areas and levels of Automotive Manufacturing BIW vehicles from single hand built prototypes to high volume automated production systems.
• A thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment with an in depth experience in commissioning BIW tooling.
• Good cross functional and problem resolution skills.
• BIW Prototype and Production tooling commissioning and managing internal and external suppliers within this requirement, Production Engineering, Stamping, line builders etc.
• GD&T , Datum strategy understanding
• Ability to understand BIW dimensional outputs from CMM and deliver a plan for dimensional improvement for the relevant system to achieve defined Quality targets and CDVR's.
• Computer and CAD literate.
• Ability to evaluate CAD and determine issues that will effect build, clash conditions, slip plane requirements etc.
• Experience in either BIW
• Underbody
• Upper structure
• Closures
• Ability to read 2D drawings, evaluate inputs such as stamped panel measurement data and its impact on vehicle capability.
• Understands Process Capability data (PP,PPK etc.)
• Program timing and planning.
