Logistics Planning Engineer

12-month initial contract

Based in Solihull

£27 per hour (Inside IR35), 40 hours per week

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM, based in Solihull, who are seeking a Logistics Planning Engineer to join their team

Job Description

As Logistics Planning Engineer, your main responsibilities are:

• Support development of warehousing and logistics solutions
• Identifying process waste and proposing solutions
• Safety, Sustainability, Quality, Cost, Delivery
• Liaise with stakeholders and collaborate cross functionally
• Optimise end-to end processes & flow solutions

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Proven Logistics Engineer or planner
• Broad knowledge of logistic engineering solutions, processes, systems and equipment
• In-plant logistics processes, lineside delivery methods, storage media, kitting strategies, AGVs
• Supporting data management, requirements gathering, solution and layout designs
• Ability to create logistics warehouse and lineside layouts
