I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Warwickshire who are seeking a Embroidery Specialist to join their team
As Embroidery Specialist your main responsibilities are:
- To develop artwork with a team of designers to create robust embroidery designs with physical, prove-out samples for low volume and bespoke production.
- To digitise embroidery
- To take art work and make it into a stitch path
- To create development loops
Qualifications / Skills required
- Experience of all aspects of machine and hand sewing, preferably durkopp experience
- Embroidery digitising Experience of DG16 Tagima or similar software
- Previous experience of working with leather and automotive textiles.
- Knowledge and familiarity of interior soft trimmed automotive parts and their assembly
- Ability to be able to read and follow rendered designs, CAD drawings and colour call outs.
- Experience of threads, textiles, leather variants and materials suited to the automotive industry.
