Contechs is recruiting on behalf of our leading global truck OEM customer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. They are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer to join their team in the Computational System Infrastructure Organization

Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Application Engineer with a strong interest and experience in software testing to join our team working on Vehicle Data Logging and Predictive Maintenance. This role is embedded within the Diagnostic Platform & Vehicle Health Data team, which supports critical uptime functionalities for commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform testing from low-level component tests to system and vehicle-level tests.
Collaborate on software functions that execute on-vehicle, especially in diagnostics and predictive maintenance areas.
Support development and validation of embedded software systems related to vehicle health monitoring.

Qualifications and skills required for the role

5+ years of relevant industry experiene.
Solid testing experience across multiple levels (component to system).
Hands-on software development experience, particularly in C/C++.
Familiarity with automotive testing tools like CANalyzer, ECU-level testing, and diagnostics.
Automotive industry experience, ideally with AUTOSAR architecture.
