Position Title: Electrical Facilities Engineer - 3 positions available

Duration: 5 Month Rolling Contract

Location: 2 positions Lyons Park, 1 Gaydon

Division: Engineering Operations

Position Description:

  • Facilities Engineer
  • This role sits within the Cross Functional Test Facilities Team, which is part of Engineering Operations (E O).
  • The team delivers facilities support to the Test Operations team which is part of E O and has as its objective achieving timely, quality product releases through supporting the overall Product 'cycle plan'.
  • In this role, you will work within the Cross Functional Test Facilities across various sites (Whitley, Gaydon, Ansty Park and Lyons Park).
  • Supporting E O activities under the control of EO-10026 for the Client.
  • You will also have other responsibilities as outlined below.
  • The purpose of the role is to ensure the safe, smooth, efficient and effective operation of the E O Test Facilities used for Product Development.
  • You will be required to demonstrate safe working practices throughout in line with the Company's 'Destination Zero' policies and you will understand the responsibility you owe to yourself and to others in the workplace.

Skills Required:

  • A Level 4 qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies (e.g. Experienced in problem solving control systems)
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes

Experience Required:

  • A Level 4 qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related discipline or relevant experience.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in English, Maths and Science
  • Proven experience and understanding of facilities, processes, equipment and leading technologies.
  • Experienced in problem solving control systems.
  • Clear and confident communicator both orally and in writing
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Ability to challenge existing thinking in a positive way whilst building credibility and trust through experience and personal style
  • Ability to follow written and spoken instruction and interface well with customers'
  • Ability to work quickly and pay attention to detail Computer literate, including Microsoft Office. A full UK driving license.
