Position Title: EDS Harness Design Engineer/Senior Application Specialist
Duration: 12 Months Contract (extension possible)
Location: Paris, France
Essential Criteria:
OBJECTIVES AND TASKS TO ACHIEVE
- At customer studies office: acquisition of functional files and validation of studies
- Wiring plants: validation of the compatibility of the studies with the manufacturing process
- YST in-house design office: implementation of wiring studies under Capital XC.

OBJECTIVES AND TASKS TO ACHIEVE
- Detailed list of potential activities to achieve as part of the mission:
- Creation and Modification of the Industrial Plan (PI),
- Build the Feasibility Estimate (DFC) appendices from a functional specification (INIT SHEET, TCC, Wire List, CATIA 3DF Digitization, customer specifications)
- Carry out industrial wiring plans from customer specifications in accordance with business requirements to find the best compromise between customer demands and the Guide Line of Industrial Production
- Verification of drawing conformity and BOM CapH according to the customer inputs, (YST check list according to internal procedures)
- Propose Feasibility and Costing Requests for cost reduction according to the objective of each project
- Support in the process of making models and prototypes
- Realise the reviews of validation plans with customer
- Contributes to the technical coherence of the vehicle
- Control the processing process up to the commercial department:
- Accepts or refuses a DFC / implementation annex / validation check factory feasibility / BE validation of the encryption consistency and specific investments
- Deal with factory remarks related to industrial feasibility (request for exemption, possible DFC, application on plan)
- Deal with customer derogations:
- Confirm the industrial feasibility and defines the possible time of application in agreement with the factory
- Guarantee the application within the deadlines announced to the client
- Update the derogation monitoring table
- Organise and verify the work entrusted to the support design offices: DFC supporting studies, Capital XC plans, to guarantee the quality of the work entrusted and respect

EXPECTED COMPETENCES
- Electro-mechanical senior expertise (plastic and metal component production processes + tooling).
- 2d Capital H/XC Proficient User.
- Knowledge of Wiring Harness production processes.
- Knowledge of Renault Nissan requirements and specifications.
- Quality tools (FMEA, design guidelines, drawing review, DFA, Lessons/learned).
- English proficient User (internal and external international contacts).
