Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are pioneers in driving a safer, more connected future of mobility. They are looking for an EDS DVP Engineer to join their expanding team on a 12 month Contract basis. The role will be based hybrid in Coventry
Job Description
As EDS DVP Engineer your main responsibilities are:
- Liaise with the wider EDS team to ensure that the designs conform to all customer and internal requirements / specifications.
- Develop the wire harness Design Verification Plan aligned to project timing using customer or Client tools.
- Support the wider engineering team in DFMEA / SCSS creation and maintenance.
- Create and maintain regular DV Reports and glide paths to report out project status.
- Ensure all test reports and evidences are fully uploaded into customer or Client system.
- Validate and update as required the project DV Plans as cascaded from customer.
Qualifications / Skills required
- Extensive experience of Automotive DVP process
- Solid understanding of vehicle EDS and electrical systems
- Understanding of EDS design and development process.
- Experience collaborating with cross functional teams
