Position Title: CAE Engineer

Description Of The Assignment

• The client is in the need of support for multidisciplinary design optimization (MDO) simulation with MBD competence.
• Work tasks will be setting up MDO, full vehicle modelling in ADAMS/Car, setting up new load cases and running MDO simulations.
• The person will suggest design changes based on simulation results and communicate with design team and attribute leaders.
• Writing python scripts for automating the workflows would be an important task.

Qualifications And Skills Required For The Role

• Contractor needs to be experienced in the specific field of MBD, scripting and MDO.
• A documented work experience in working with MDO is beneficial.
• An extensive experience in full vehicle modelling and simulations in ADAMS/Car is required.
• Candidate must be able to work independently in ADAMS/Car, HEEDS, python and MATLAB with minimal supervision.
• Skills in Python scripting is mandatory. Knowledge of powertrain modelling and simulation is an advantage.
