Position Title: SE - Cab Climate System Leader

Duration: Fixed term employment contract - 7 months initially

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Description:

Our customer is looking for a proactive, positive and technology driven Cab Climate System Leader to the Cab Climate section, within Thermal Management Technology stream. You will lead Cab Climate system Capabilities containing both Software, Hardware and Functional Development, with focus on the development of Cab Climate systems for all kinds of drive lines (combustion engine and electric). Cab Climate is a SW heavy area so preferably you have experience from leading SW and functionality development, ideally in Cab Climate area or for other complex systems.

As a person, you can take own initiatives and drive them forward with a business and customer mindset. You have excellent communication skills and you are good at networking with people. You also have a positive attitude and adapt to changing conditions. You are well organized and value documentation.

Relevant Experience:

To be successful in this role, we believe you have the following experience/background:
M.Sc in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic engineering or similar technical field of study or equivalent work experience
Experience from Agile development
Experience from Automotive industry
Fluent in English, both spoken and written
Thermal Management and Cab Climate system development is a great merit
Volvo experience in project management (PME / PM / Epic leader / System leader) is a merit

What's in it for you?

You will plan, follow-up and deliver the cab climate system solution to multiple vehicle product classes.
You will collaborate with system leaders and Epic Owner for other areas, especially the ones within Thermal Management. You will have a vital role for securing the integration of the SW and HW in the cab climate system and of the cab climate system in the complete vehicle.
