Contechs is recruiting on behalf of its client, a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. They are looking for Battery Systems Engineer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Dunton

Description:

• Battery Unit & Systems Engineer
• Part of the European Electrified Propulsion Engineering team (EPE) team is responsible for the integration of high voltage components to help deliver the future powertrain solutions for the Client.
• An opportunity has opened for a Battery Unit Systems Engineer.
• You will have responsibility for the system design and validation of the HV battery unit and to ensure that product development deliverables and program attribute targets are met for Battery Units on the Clients' next generation of Electric Vehicles.

Skills Required:

• Demonstrable experience of working with little supervision.
• Experience of attribute trade off and management.
• Good working knowledge of GPDS process and utilisation of the Clients' Product Development toolset such as: Teamcenter FEDE Workbench VSEM G8D & DFMEA
• Robustness & Reliability toolset
