Our Client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AWS Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic team, on Contract basis. The role will be based in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Job Description

As AWS Infrastructure Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining their AWS infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security of our systems
• Collaborate with architects and stakeholders to design AWS infrastructure solutions that meet the organization's technical and business requirements
• Deploy and configure AWS services according to best practices, including compute instances (EC2), networking (VPC, Route 53), storage (S3, EBS), databases (RDS, DynamoDB), and other relevant services. Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of AWS resources
• Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) templates using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK to automate the provisioning and management of AWS resources.
• Write scripts in Python, PowerShell, or other languages to automate routine tasks and workflows.
• Implement security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and audit logging.

Qualifications / Skills needed

• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and managing AWS infrastructure solutions in production environments.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and features, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and others.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and configuration management tools such as Ansible or Chef
• AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus.
