Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for an Apps & Connectivity Engineer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based hybrid in Solihull

Job Description

As an Apps & Connectivity Engineer your main responsibilities are:

• Overseeing the development and implementation of the latest digital systems architecture to provide a class leading customer experience.
• Working with the wider electrical team to develop functional specifications and requirements for hardware and software.
• Development and deployment of our client's connectivity roadmap including off vehicle apps.
• Planning, developing and maintaining software and features required to satisfy vehicle functionality, meeting the current and future cyber security
• Develop and maintain Technology Roadmap for digitalisation and connectivity technology
• Introduction of strategy and deployment to support Over the Air functionality

Qualifications / Skills required

• Experience working across various electrical modules
• To have a clear understanding of testing, verification and validation
• Experience developing and implementing systems architecture
• To have proven experience in infotainment, telematics, vehicle applications, smart services, remote services, vehicle connectivity/networks
