ADAS Validation Engineer
** Ideally, you are currently living in Sweden, hold a valid work permit, and are eligible to work onsite in Gothenburg and travel in your role. Must have a Swedish B-drivers license.
The Role
We are now looking for an ADAS Validation Engineer to join our Intelligent Drive department. Our mission is to successfully launch advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) to the European market, ensuring high quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will work hands-on with vehicle testing and validation, collaborating closely with international teams, suppliers, and test partners.
Description of the Assignment
- KPI collection connected to EU homologation and EU-NCAP Including extensive expeditions to collect data around Europe
- Verification of ADAS functions in our vehicles, both on test track and public roads in Sweden and rest of Europe
- Verify and validate ADAS functions in development vehicles on test tracks and public roads across Sweden and Europe
- Ensure ADAS behavior meets European customer expectations, regulations, and safety standards
- Analyze test results and manage issues towards international counterparts and suppliers
- Support homologation and EU-NCAP activities in collaboration with project teams and external test partners
- Contribute to continuous improvement of ADAS performance for the European market
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within ADAS including vehicle testing on European market, preferable working close with regulation and Intelligent Speed Assistance.
- Valid Swedish driver's license (required)
- Good knowledge of ADAS behaviour in complete vehicle
- Validate functions to ensure that they meet the expectations of the European customer
- Analysis of test results and Issue management based on needs for European market and regulation, towards our Chinese counterparts and suppliers
- Support activities connected to homologation and EU-NCAP together with project and external test partners
- Good knowledge of ADAS behaviour in complete vehicle
- Experience in Canalyzer, Canoe, DSA and SystemWeaver
- Competence requirements for: CAD (CATIA)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
