Job description
Position Title: Accounts Assistant
Duration: Permanent
Location: Basildon, Essex
Key Responsibilities
- Reconciliation of contractor invoices to timesheets
- Emailing contractors to chase for timesheets/ invoices
- Entering contractor invoices on Sage
- Communicating via email and telephone with the contractors dealing with queries on invoices and timesheets
- Processing of employee and contractor expenses
- Raise and send out remittances
- Compliance with Company Management Systems supporting improvement, identifying and reporting issues
- Other ad hoc duties as required
- Assistance in raising sales invoicing to clients
Skills Required
- Good working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
- Be an excellent team player and be able to work on their own initiative
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required, as well as the ability to work efficiently and meet strict deadlines
Education Required
- Degree or A Levels
Education Preferred
- Graduate in Accounting and Finance
