Contechs has opened new technical operations in Gothenburg, Sweden, establishing a permanent Nordic base and marking the latest step in the Group's international expansion.
The Nordics have become one of the world's most progressive automotive and mobility development centres, with significant investment in electrification, digitalisation and software-defined vehicles. A permanent presence in Gothenburg positions us at the centre of that market and creates a platform for further growth across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.
The move extends our reach to seven global locations – spanning the UK, Germany, Sweden, Poland, India and the United States – and reflects a wider shift in how we deliver for our clients. Rather than scaling through headcount and geography alone, we're building a model that pairs local, specialist engineering and programme management presence with virtual delivery capability. This is underpinned by proprietary process IP developed over more than two decades of vehicle programme delivery, and a growing use of AI-enabled workflows across our virtual engineering teams.
